We'll help you find a great therapist for you.
Becoming a therapist was almost a no-brainer for me. I have experienced many of the things that prevent or get in the way of success; and I have been able to recognize the symptoms and characteristics in others. I want to spread the news that there is help if you choose it.I chose mental health and addiction because I am good at it. I am honest and forthcoming. If you can be truthful and dedicated to the process (though it may be hard) you can expect positive change and progress toward your goal. I am guided by a set of core principles that help to assure I am doing my best work. We can make it happen.

Therapy is a collaborative process that is built on trust and fosters insight as well as growth. It is important to me to create a safe; open; and non-judgmental atmosphere where Clients feel comfortable to share as well as express their unique life experiences. My Practice is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Dialectical Behavioral Therapy; Mindfulness Based Interventions; EMDR and Holistic Coaching. I utilize Affirmative Psychotherapy in which I meet people where they are in their own space and time. My clients would describe me as passionate; caring and humorous.

What should I expect during my first therapy session with a therapist through Talkspace?
In your first Talkspace therapy session, you should expect to discuss your therapy goals, background, and any current mental health concerns you're having. Your Talkspace therapist will take the time they need to get to know you, your history, your concerns, and your goals for therapy treatment. Together, you'll establish a plan for future sessions.
