West Virginia University and Talkspace are working together to bring WVU students convenient, personal and professional online messaging and support from a dedicated licensed mental health therapist, anytime, anywhere.
WVU students will receive these services at no cost. You will have access to two video sessions per month, and you can regularly send text, audio and video messages to your therapist. All you need to do is enter your MIX email below to verify eligibility. You do NOT need to contact Carruth Center prior to using Talkspace services. Talkspace is confidential and secure.

Messaging and live video therapy is available to all WVU students, including those attending WVU Morgantown, WVU Online, WVU Tech and WVU Potomac State. Students may be located in any U.S. state, including West Virginia.

If a provider match is not immediately available during registration, students will be matched within 24 hours.
When signing up for Talkspace and prompted to select the State of Residence, students are able to use either their current state of residence, or the state of their permanent home address.
